The calculators and guides on Term Time Pay are for general information. They estimate gross pay and holiday using a standard method (the NJC Green Book term-time-only guidance) and statutory figures. Your employer may use a different method, different full-time hours, more generous holiday or different rounding. Your actual pay is set by your contract.

Scope
- England and Wales. Northern Ireland not covered.
- Scotland: council staff are on SJC terms; adjust hours and holiday to match your contract.
- Academies and private contractors may not follow the Green Book.
- Gross pay only: no tax, National Insurance, pension, overtime or allowances.
